
Dr. Michael Dumas completed his undergraduate degrees from Tufts University and Tufts University School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine.
He then continued his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the New England Medical Center (Boston), the 50th 60th USAF Hospital and the King County Hospital (University of Washington) where his sub specialty was out-patient anesthesia. This was followed by a doctorate program (Ph.D.) in Anatomy and Physiology at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Dumas has maintained a solo practice for over 25 years in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is a member of CDA, SF Dental Society, Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (fellow) and numerous other organizations related to outpatient anesthesia and Implantology. He is also an anesthesia examiner for the California Board of Dental Examiners.
He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally on Implants, Out -Patient Anesthesia and Practice Management.
He is affiliated with the Catholic Hospitals West, Chief, Oral and Maxillofacial section, Seton Medical Center, and Associate Professor (adjunct) of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.
